This post is a bit late, as I’ve now been in this apartment for almost 3 months, but moving made things pretty crazy, in addition to work deadlines. I tried very hard to do a move little at a time, only moving what was necessary for me to live.

For the first move, I got some muscle to help me, and moved mostly furniture that would be hard for me to move. We made a few trips with my truck, moving the following:

  • Couch (you wouldn’t believe the effort that this took with all the pillows)
  • TV stand
  • Bookshelf
  • Bed
  • Hygiene Items including(toothbrush, toothpaste, combs, shampoo and conditioner, soap, hair oils, perfume, fingernail clippers x2, toilet paper, tissues)
  • Clothes (6 pairs of under wear, 3 tank tops, 4 shirts, 3 pairs of pants, plus what I wore)
  • Sweatshirt
  • Suitcase
  • Cleaning supplies (vacume, bucket, mop, broom, borax, 409, Clorox wipes, sponges)
  • Oil diffuser
  • 1.5 box of books, 1.5 box of games,
  • 4 sleeping pillows
  • Wall charger for watch and phone
  • Multivitamin, probiotic, ubiquinol
  • Water bottle

The first night I found there were several things I missed:

  • Shower curtain
  • Sheets
  • Towel
  • Bathroom hand towel
  • Water filter

The next few days or so I got:

  • Paper products
  • Dental floss
  • Winter coat
  • Tv
  • Spray and wash for the oil on my pants
  • Essential oils
  • Internet Router
  • Lamp
  • 2 pairs of pants
  • Sweater
  • Water bottle

It was surprising how little after that I wanted or missed. I really never realized how much I didn’t use.
